Crysis Trilogy is a bundle containing every installment from the series of first-person shooter games developed by Crytek and published by Electronic Arts, as well as their expansion packs and DLCs. The first game in the series introduces the player to the world of the game, in which an alien race of Ceph has invaded Earth. The player, a member of an elite Raptor Team, takes on the alien invaders using a nanosuit, enhancing their abilities exponentially. The following installments – Crysis Warhead, Crysis 2 and 3 and The Lost Island DLC – continue the story of Earth's resistance against the Ceph, introducing new characters, new weapons and nanosuit abilities and more. The core gameplay mechanics of the Crysis series focus heavily on action, using various weapons and nanosuit abilities. The firearms the player can use in the game are slightly futurized versions of contemporary pistols, rifles, shotguns, etc. The weapons can be equipped with various enhancements, such as scopes.

Crysis series' main gameplay features are the unique abilities of the nanosuit the player character is wearing. The suit powers can be used at any time during the gameplay to gain an advantage over the enemy forces.
