Installation Instructions

  1. Insert the DVD in your DVD Slot. It should appear on your desktop. Do NOT click on it.
  2. Restart your mac.
  3. As soon as you hear the startup chime press and hold the option [ALT] key on your keyboard.
  4. Choose start from DVD symbol.

    this dvd saved the day

    I was trying to get an ancient IMac working after erasing it. Recovery mode didn't work and neither did a bootable USB drive. This DVD from Software repair world arrived and worked perfectly getting this Mac working again and used as a second monitor in target mode.
